On Workers’ Memorial Day, Rachael Maskell MP spoke to highlight the dangers of the workplace and to commemorate all those who have lost their lives at work. The event – organised by York and District Trades Union Council – was held at All Saint’s Church, Pavement, York and featured a poem written specially to mark the day by the legendary Yorkshire poet Ian McMillan.
