As the Article 50 Bill has been published by the Government and will be debated in the House of Commons on Tuesday, I have arranged two meetings to take place this Monday 30 January at Friends Meeting House, Friargate, York, YO1 9RL.
Please could you RSVP to the meeting by clicking one of the links below, there is a choice of a 6:30pm meeting or 8pm meeting.
York Central EU Meeting - Mon 30 Jan - 6:30pm
York Central EU Meeting - Mon 30 Jan - 8:00pm
We are at a crucial point. Theresa May has outlined a Brexit which does not consider many of the issues my constituents contact me about on a regular basis for example environmental issues and food safety, national and economic security, jobs, and who we will trade with. The number of people who voted in the Referendum in York shows how important this issue is to people. I have already held meetings with constituents regarding the EU and in order to gather a clear picture of how people want to see our future I am trying to meet with as many others as possible and give you the opportunity to voice your views and concerns.
